PDX files are now considered uncommon and might not be recognized by your regular image viewer. They can be converted to more widely used image formats for easier access. ICO files contain the images used as icons for files, folders or programs on the Microsoft Windows platform. The icons appear on the desktop, in Windows Explorer or in the Start Menu and help identify each item. ICO images are generally of a small size, are scalable, and they can also serve as website logos or symbols that appear in the web browser next to the URL. The equivalent of ICO files on Mac computers is called ICNS. The quick and simple way to handle your files is to get a quality piece of software, such as reaConverter. Although it is fast, this software is extremely efficient in managing a wide range of conversions. As you will soon realize, reaConverter will help you avoid spending countless hours trying to figure out how to convert PDXs. But at the same time, it will allow you to apply a wide range of editing options. reaConverter is quick to download, install and launch, and you don’t need to be an IT specialist in order to understand in a few minutes how it operates. Start reaConverter and load all the .pdx files you intend to convert into .ico because, as opposed to most free online converters, reaConverter supports batch conversion. So you can save the time and energy you would lose with doing repetitive operations. Select PDXs from a folder or by drag-and-dropping them directly into the reaConverter window. Go to the Saving options tab and decide where you want to save new .ico files. You can also spend a few more moments to apply additional editing to the images prepared for conversion. Then pick the ICO as output format. Then simply press the Start button and your conversion will begin in no time! Advanced users can convert PDX to ICO via command-line interface in manual or automated mode. You are welcome to contact our technical support when you have any questions about reaConverter. It is very clean. Staff is super nice and helpful. They have a mini store in the lobby. No pool but a mini gym. I felt very comfortable here. I did not get a chance to try the room service but they have a large menu. Only thing is they don’t have their own parking garage and valet is $45 a night! We parked at a garage down the street for $25 overnight. I would def stay here again. Summer vacay and Marriott points led us to this location. Conveniently located between 5th and 6th on Oak in the center of Portland’s best eats and treats. We flew into PDX and took the Max (Red line) to 1st street and Oak. It was about a 5 minute walk to hotel. We didn’t have many bags so it was easy. If you have more stuff you can transfer to a blue line and get off right next to hotel. The hotel was perfect for us. Nothing fancy but nice. It had all the amenities necessary like a fridge and coffee maker. The beds were comfortable and the room was a decent size. We had a corner room on the 6th floor but the views were not spectacular. Check-in was easy. I love the Marriott app. It makes it easy to check-in and takes less than 2 minutes to get your key from the front desk. The employees were very kind. They will point you in the right direction when your off on an adventure. The only thing my kids complained about was no pool. It’s all good since we were there to eat and discover the city. There is a small store available for snacks and adult beverages next to reception desk. You will also find the Original Dinerant restaurant attached to the hotel. You can order some drinks and take them up to room. Hotel is in a great location. You could turn left or right out the lobby and walk into some food carts. Portland City Grille is across the street and is a quick walk. 5 minute walk to riverfront and just a 10 minute walk to Target and a million more food carts. Breweries within 15 min walk as well. The max light rail has 2 separate lines on either side of hotel. Great place to stay and rest your feet. Most awesome location. They were cool with me checking in at 0730 too.

Watered down Stumptown better than no free coffee as well!

Room was awesome. New, clean, contemporary, heard no neighbor. Along route for bus mall, close to Max stop, loved it being around corner from Lauretta Jeans and that British breakfast pod ( yum). Would most def return. Connected to Original Dinerant as well. Went to Madras Oregon to watch the Eclipse. Traffic coming back to Vancouver and we had to stay in the states another night. We managed to find this place and they had room to accommodate last minute. The room itself was fabulous! Very spacious, 2 queen sized beds, and modern looking. Night time falls and I hop into my bed. I notice a yellow stain and some dried blood on the sheets. I quickly showed my husband and we were grossed out. I stayed with 3 other guests and showed them- they were all shocked. I called front desk and they said that they would switch us rooms. It was midnight and all the other guests were settled, so I told them to bring me new sheets and bedding. It came within minutes and I changed the bedding with my husband. Next day at check out, customer service apologized and they comped our 1 night stay. I took a star away for the little mishap with the sheets but 5 stars for customer service! this location is great! You’re always walking distance to anywhere from this hotel. Plenty of restaurants and food trucks around each corner. The hotel staffs are great, checking in and out was a breeze. The room was clean! Only drawback is there are quite a few homeless people around the area but hey, you’re in downtown - what do you expect? Other than that, i would stay at this courtyard again in the future. i saw a sign for parking, it’s $40 a night (that’s expensive). We didn’t rent a car, we just walked and took public transportation One of your valet employees was extremely unprofessional and rude. He is African American, has long hair tied up high, I dont know his name. I walked up to him and told him “Patel” (my last name) so that I could get my car and he responds “I dont know what that is.” All of your other valets were so nice they greeted me when I pulled up, opened doors, etc. This guy did none of those things. He never smiled or anything. But the hotel was decent. When we arrived around 6 pm, the lady who checked us in was very lukewarm and a young man at the entrance who greeted us. After a long day of driving, we were hoping for better service. Perhaps they were overwhelmed by the demand which negatively impacted the service. Our children selected Portland as a quick summer vacation destination, and the Courtyard City Center was our home while we were there. It was actually a great choice and I would be happy to stay there again. We have stayed at a Courtyard Marriott before and knew what to expect. The room was clean and spacious enough to keep my 7 and 8 year old from going stir-crazy. Beds were comfortable, as always. Queen beds come with four pillows, a fluffy mattress, with all-white sheets and duvet. There is an in-room fridge, which we filled with waters, Capri-Suns, Yoo-Hoos, and sugar free Red Bulls. The bathroom was fine, with standard-sized shower and a single-sink vanity with decent counterspace. The toilet is aligned with the eco-friendly pacific northwest, giving two flush options depending on your needs. The best part about this hotel is the location. Situated right near the Pearl District and Downtown, the Courtyard City Center is within walking distance of many cool things. We did not come to Portland with a plan and ended up having some great family time walking around the city. We came across some great parks with fountains that allowed the kids to cool off in the summer heat. We found the food carts! There was lots of amazing architecture and fun sculptures and street art. Everything was within a 5- to 20-minute walk of our hotel. The hotel is also attached to a pretty cool restaurant, so it’s easy to grab food and take to your room, or order room service. The only thing I missed was a pool, but you can’t have it all. This was a good spot for our family; definitely consider it if you are planning a Portland visit. Location: Near to everything - bus stops, MAX line, restaurants, Powell’s City of Books - all at your fingertips in less than 10 minutes of walking. Room: Very big, clean, and comfortable. Tip: They charge $5 for a bottle of water in your room! Thank goodness there are grocery stores nearby so you can pick some up instead. All in all, I enjoyed my stay here and would choose it again. The staff is exceptional and made our stay in Portland much more enjoyable by offering great tips about local hot spots. They sincerely are what make this hotel great! We felt at home and pampered at the same time. The rooms were clean and modern with all the comforts of home. Their in-house restaurant was exellent, as well! Who doesn’t love breakfast in bed with a city view? Stay in a corner room, if possible, the view is worth the extra cash! Nice job Marriot!!! I would have given them 10 stars, if possible The rooms are decent size. The beds aren’t all that comfortable and your pillows are sooo hard! The TV was such an an awkward place in our room, I guess it’s only made for one person to watch it. Customer service was very nice. Be careful with parking because there is none and valet is $45! This was an excellent hotel experience. When we found out our room was on the third floor and not higher, I was worried we weren’t going to have any sort of view - I was wrong. The room was furnished beautifully and we had a lovely view with large windows and plenty of natural light. Tastefully decorated and comfortable, and an all around pleasant stay. I’ve deducted one star for the apparent lack of available overnight parking.

They don’t make it easy, but it can be done!

We parked a few blocks away on 4th and Stark for $25. Stayed here for about 4 days on recent trip to Portland. Probably the best location that you can ask for in Downtown Portland. Super close to all of the best restaurants, coffee spots, and shops in the downtown area. Also super close to the MAX as well. Hotel itself was really nice and clean and the front desk staff was always very friendly. Sounds like a really positive review, so why not the full 5 star right? Well, there was one small incident. Keep in mind, we ate about half of each donut so there were definitely plenty of bites left. Unfortunately, when we got back to the hotel, we noticed that the maids actually threw away (or ate) our donuts. Normally I wouldn’t really care, but since these were Blue Start donuts, I was pissed. Despite this small incident, I would highly recommend this hotel for the friendly front desk staff and the amazing downtown location. Good weekend price at an excellent location. Nice, not large room with nice bed and shower. Negative - $42 valet parking fee is too much. I did not comparison shop parking fees but felt ripped off. Also floor of shower felt very slippery, a threat for those of us beginning to age. Pretty solid downtown hotel. It was $150/night for a standard room with 2 queens. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, fridge within the room, GOOD WIFI, no pool but there’s a fitness center, it’s what you’d expect out of a Marriott. There’s no lobby bar but there’s a take on a modern diner connected to the lobby (donut burgers looked good). Situated in a good downtown location, you’re right on the Max green light rail which goes directly to the Moda center. We ubered there for a Warriors vs Blazers game for $10 instead. You’re across the street from Starbucks, a food cart pod just around the corner, and walking distance to Voodoo donut. It’s $38 to park your car through valet which includes ins and out, there’s no self , Otherwise the valet said there’s a parking garage down the block. Solid hotel for the price. Since I’m having issues with food poisoning from the restaurant downstairs and told the supervisor downstairs Kate and she completely said she has nothing to do with that! I’ll also say the shower wasn’t hot but I called room services and they did fix the hot water for the shower. Excellent service by front desk. Fast and competent Valet. Lobby looked brand new. Great beers for sale you can take up to your room. Attached to a decent diner, very hip. Business center level is pretty sweet. But their rooms! All the money went to the lobby as a facade. Rooms weren’t up to par with other Courtyards. There is a window in the room, but it doesn’t open. For 3 days I feel like I couldn’t take a deep breath because of no air flow. The bathroom showers looked like they needed a deep cleaning. The front desk put our family of 3 in between 2 party rooms. You could hear music bumping from one room and the other side was 5 drunk women yelling “woohoo!” at the top of their lungs as if other guests enjoy hearing that attention seeking warcry. As a former Marriott employee for 7 years I learned a few things at the front desk, use 1 or 2 floors as your party floors. Save 1 or 2 for families. Some people at your hotel are there for work, maybe even for relaxation. It’s hard to pull off sometimes but if you see a family, relocate them to a quiet area. Also, your housekeeping staff could use some more training when cleaning the bathrooms to make them more presentable to the guests. Clean the shower heads or replace them. Having a towel that is labeled “Westin” among the Marriott towels is embarassing. It’s all in the details. One of the worst hotel experiences ever!!! Originally made reservations at the Portland Marriott City. Website didn’t have an option to choose a single king or double queen. However, I was traveling with another adult so I specified in the notes for two queens. When I entered my room, found out they gave me a room with only a single king. Went to the front desk and the lady at the desk said we were out of luck because they were booked up. Didn’t even try to help us in a crappy situation so my friend was left scrambling to find a room the night of. Today, go down to check-out and check back into our separate kings and found out my second night wasn’t even booked. They said they had only one room available and it was two queens. Not like I had a choice and had to stay there instead of walking to another hotel to switch a hotel a third freaking time. Of all my experiences at a hotel, this is absolutely one of the worst!! Customer service is non-existent! The courtyard hotel is located JUUUUUUst outside of the heart of downtown portland and is super convenient to any Portland visitor. The hotel is connected to “the original”, for any visitors who partied a little too hard last night and just wants to get some food. I, unfortunately, did not have the pleasure to try the restaurant, but it seemed like many people stopped by. The rooms are spacious and clean. There was a mini-fridge, coffee maker, safe, and a relatively large bathroom. I was a little peeved with the room cleaning service: After a few days of use, we signaled that we would like our room to be cleaned. After we came back from a day out, we noticed that the towels that were previously on the floor were simply hung back up. The hotel requires keycard entry to the front door and to get to upper levels of the hotel. This was kind of annoying when running to get out of the rain. Other than those hiccups, the hotel was quite nice. The location was awesome, the staff were friendly and courteous, and the location was awesome (I cant emphasize how easy it was to walk everywhere lol). Protip: during the rainy season, the hotel will rent you umbrellas! Lobby smells great and valet service is quick and friendly. Room is comfortable and functional. Toilet kinda sucks though: it’s shaped weird and hurts your butt! In the following table, you can find a list of file types information that is associated with .pdx extension.

[1] Increasingly, developers and entrepreneurs generate and transfer digital assets such as tokens on blockchains. Blockchain technology is a relatively new development and can be a difficult concept to grasp at first. However, the reality is that Bitcoin and blockchain technology are no different from many other technologies. For example, the dollar itself is used for many purposes, both noble and nefarious. Blockchain technology and its derivatives, like Bitcoin, have the potential to disrupt several sectors of the global economy and the way we live our lives. Blockchain When people think of blockchain, they usually think of Bitcoin. Although it is probable that one would not exist without the other, they are not the same thing. A blockchain is an open, decentralized database of transactions. It is technology with potential use cases in a myriad of forums including currency, property, and even elections. A blockchain’s function is to create a record whose authenticity is verified by a network of computers rather than a central institution. It is special because it brokers trust between multiple parties without facilitation by a third party. So how does it work? Think of the last purchase you made—chances are you paid with plastic. You pulled a card out of your wallet and swiped it on a vendor’s console to pay for something. The customer’s bank verifies whether the card is valid and that the underlying account has enough funds to cover the transaction. This system works because the bank ensures that the vendor receives payment for the particular good or service that it is providing to the customer. In other words, it is only after the bank signs off on a transaction that the vendor trusts its customer and completes the transaction. The bank, therefore, acts as a broker of trust. Without this trust, the vendor would be unwilling to release its goods or provide a service because doing so could result in nonpayment. For this trust, the vendor often pays a healthy fee of somewhere between 2-4% of the value of the transaction. A transaction facilitated on a blockchain is different because it is processed on a distributed ledger. What is a distributed ledger, you ask? Now, imagine that the spreadsheet is available on a network of computers spread all over the world—that is the distributed part. Instead of requiring a third party, like a bank, to act as the gatekeeper to a person’s economic worthiness, the network processes and validates the transactions. Each node on the network provides the computing power to process transactions on a blockchain. What incentivizes a person to dedicate computing power to processing transactions on a blockchain? There may be many reasons, but the most common is the prospect of obtaining cryptocurrency. Let’s use Bitcoin as an example—when the nodes are done processing a transaction, the node responsible for the validation receives compensation in the form of Bitcoin. The more computing power provided by a particular node, the higher the chances of that node receiving the compensation derived from validating a transaction. [3] Currently, Bitcoin is the most recognized and widely used form of cryptocurrency. It is for these reasons that the SEC provided guidance in the Report. [6] Additionally, holders of DAO Tokens had the option of liquidating their investment by re-selling their tokens on web-based exchanges that supported a secondary market for digital tokens. They pre-screened potential projects prior to presenting them to the investors for a vote, essentially acting as gatekeepers to the entire operation. In less than one month, from April to May of 2016, The DAO was able to raise around 12M ETH, then valued at around $150M. In a common enterprise with a reasonable expectation of profits The DAO’s governance model allowed investors to vote on whether a particular project would be funded. Once funded, the investors holding DAO Tokens stood to share in the potential profits from these projects. [14] The SEC concluded that the offer and sale of DAO Tokens to investors satisfied the elements of an investment contract. Therefore, DAO Tokens were in fact securities that were subject to the requirements of federal securities laws. Thus ending what, for a while, was an unhindered gravy train for developers and would-be blockchain entrepreneurs. For example, the Report does not address whether The DAO was an “investment company” as defined in Section 3(a) of the Investment Company Act. [15] Companies considered investment companies must register with the SEC, unless they fall under an exception or qualify for an exemption from registration. For example, The DAO’s contracts would have been rendered unenforceable by virtue of failing to comply with federal securities laws. Innovation in this space is rapid—ideas and money flow fast. For entrepreneurs and developers in this space, the prospect of slowing the process down to conduct a thorough securities analysis may be tough to digest.

The SEC refrained from pursuing legal action against those responsible for The DAO, likely because they returned the money taken from investors after being hacked in June of 2016.

[18] However, since publishing the Report, over two hundred new ICOs have moved forward in their efforts to raise funds—rest assured, the SEC is watching. Pdx blockchain technology helps establish automated trust amongst untrusted parties, hence has tremendous potential to many real-world use cases. However, each blockchain platform and/or application can have its own unique requirements on security, privacy, performance, and trustworthiness etc. ; these requirements from different applications can be conflicting and difficult if not impossible to accommodate by the blockchain platform. However, a viable blockchain platform needs to satisfy these different and even conflicting requirements imposed by the applications hosted. This dilemma has been plaguing all public and consortium blockchain platforms. This helps small to medium businesses, blockchain companies, and technology geeks rapidly deploy blockchain platforms of their own. This helps small to medium businesses, blockchain companies, and technical geeks rapidly deploy production-grade blockchain applications. PDX blockchain extends blockchain platform and smart contract support to smart devices, automatically supports multi-chain and cross-chain, and eliminates the entrance and evolution barrier of adopting blockchain technologies. PDX blockchain employs virtual currency scheme to define charging, clearing and incentivization models to support the rapid and organic growth of the ecosystem. Each dedicated blockchain created can give its own virtual currency and the PDX public blockchain can auto list it for trading in the digital asset exchange built in the ecosystem. The halt was related to recent press releases that claimed these companies had acquired assets from a subsidiary of a private equity investor in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. According to the SEC order regarding Cherubim, it also announced the execution of a financing commitment to launch an initial coin offering. CHIT CEO Patrick Johnson claimed they would apply to list on either the NYSE and NASDAQ following an audit. The SEC thanked both OTC Markets Group and FINRA for their assistance in the matter.
